Status of "Sait Ji" Song Issue!

The 'Sait Ji' song from Hiphop Tamizha's Meesaya Murukku was recently removed from YouTube citing the reason that the word Sait ji hurt the sentiments of a particular community. They had sent a representation notice to the film's producer, Sundar.C, who agreed to remove the song.

When we contacted sources close to Adhi, this is what they had to say. "We did not intend to hurt anyone's sentiment. But, we decided to remove the song from YouTube respecting their representation.

Hiphop Tamizha’s Meesaya Murukku Song Removed From YouTube!

Hiphop Tamizha Adhi has been working in Meesaya Murukku, as a director, actor and music director. The film produced by “Sundar. C” has “ Vivek” in a pivotal role. Recently, a promo song titled Sait Ji had been uploaded on YouTube. The song went on viral and it was an instant hit. But, some people complained about that song saying that it denotes a particular community.

Tamil rap artist and music composer Aadhi aka Hiphop Tamizha has followed the footsteps of other music directors in the industry and has turned actor. His first movie as an actor and director is titled as ‘Meesaya Murukku’ and the teaser of the movie is here.

‘Meesaya Murukku’ is basically like the story of Hiphop Tamizha himself. It is about a youngster who is trying to make his independent music against the norms of the society. Ace comedian Vivek is playing Aadhi’s father and he is one of the best parts about the teaser. Other than the lead and Vivek, the music also sounds pretty catchy.
